Senior BSA/AML Analyst
Job Summary
Owning end-to-end financial crimes investigations, the remote Senior BSA/AML Analyst will monitor and investigate AML alerts, conduct due diligence on cannabis clients, and prepare SAR reports while navigating complex regulatory environments in the cannabis sector.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and investigate AML alerts generated across multiple program partners
- Conduct due diligence and ongoing monitoring of cannabis clients, including risk assessments
- Prepare marijuana-specific SAR reports in accordance with FinCEN's guidance
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of BSA/AML compliance experience, with fintech and cannabis banking preferred
- Experience filing marijuana-related SARs under FinCEN's MRB guidance framework
- Demonstrated knowledge of BaaS compliance models and AML obligations
- Experience with AML transaction-monitoring and compliance platforms
- CAMS certification is a plus
