Senior Budget Analyst
Job Summary
Providing senior-level budget formulation and financial analysis, the full-time Senior Budget Analyst will manage budget variances, prepare spend-plan documentation, and support financial reporting in a remote role with occasional on-site requirements in Quantico, Virginia.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze budget variances and financial projections to support planning and reporting
- Prepare and maintain spend-plan documentation and budget-adjustment logs
- Reconcile budget-management data with financial-system reports and research discrepancies
Required qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in quantitative analysis of financial or programmatic data
- Experience with budget execution, financial reconciliation, and executive-level reporting
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to communicate financial results to non-financial audiences
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field, or 8+ years of relevant experience
- Active US Security Clearance (Secret) required
