Job Summary
Leading budget planning and execution analysis for the Department of Veterans Affairs, the full-time Senior Budget Analyst will manage PPBE and MFR activities for the clinical informatics portfolio, ensuring effective funding decisions while collaborating with OCI leadership and program analysts.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and manage PPBE and MFR activities in accordance with budget laws and regulations
- Conduct multi-year programming studies and budget analyses, providing evaluations and recommendations
- Lead budget formulation efforts, including the development of budget artifacts and inputs for the Congressional Budget Justification
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in budget, financial, or cost analysis
- Proven experience with PPBE or MFR in a large government organization
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting in the health care industry
- Knowledge of federal budget-related laws and regulations
