Senior Building Automation Programmer
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Senior Building Automation Programmer will create comprehensive programming packages for building automation projects, including writing programs, conducting functional testing, and providing technical assistance to support staff.
Key responsibilities
- Write programs and virtual points for approved submittals and create functional testing documents
- Set up testing systems and assist with onsite functional testing and training for staff
- Review design content and prepare Requests for Information (RFIs) to address specification discrepancies
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or state-recognized GED
- 4+ years of experience programming HVAC systems and developing controls strategies
- Electro-mechanical experience and user PC/software skills
- Ability to read and understand design and construction documents
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
