Job Summary
As a full-time remote Senior Building Automation Programmer, the candidate will create comprehensive programming packages, including sequences of operation and functional testing for HVAC systems, while also providing pre-sale assistance and technical support to project teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Write programs and virtual points for approved submittals and create functional testing documents
- Set up testing systems to validate programs prior to release and assist with onsite functional testing
- Prepare Requests for Information (RFIs) to address specification discrepancies and provide technical assistance to staff
Required qualifications:
- High school diploma or state-recognized GED
- 4+ years of experience programming HVAC systems and developing controls strategies
- Electro-mechanical experience and proficiency in PC/software skills
- Ability to read and understand design and construction documents
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
