Senior Business Analyst
Job Summary
Partnering with engineering teams to support the Research Data Atlas program, the remote contract Senior Business Analyst will manage requirements across the SDLC, facilitating discovery sessions and collaborating with technical and business teams on complex data-focused initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria
- Facilitate requirements workshops and cross-functional discussions to gather and refine requirements
- Support agile delivery processes, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and testing/UAT
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis for complex technology or data initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in business analysis, business administration, engineering, information science, health, or a science-related field
- Strong skills in requirements analysis and translating business needs into actionable documentation
- Proven ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams
- Experience with agile delivery methodologies, including backlog management and sprint planning
