Senior Business Analyst
Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior Business Analyst will manage requirements across the SDLC while collaborating with engineering teams on the Research Data Atlas program to support complex technology and data-focused initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with engineering teams to translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria
- Facilitate discovery sessions and cross-functional discussions to gather and refine requirements
- Support agile delivery processes, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and testing/UAT
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis for complex technology or data initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in business analysis, business administration, engineering, information science, health, or a science-related field
- Strong skills in requirements analysis and translating business needs into actionable documentation
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams
- Experience with agile delivery methodologies, including sprint planning and backlog management
