Senior Business Analyst
Job Summary
To support an upcoming DHS program, the remote Senior Business Analyst will lead the analysis and design of moderately complex systems, translating business requirements into system specifications while overseeing Analysts and developing necessary documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into system requirements and define functional issues for software development
- Conduct trade-off analyses on business and technical requirements to guide system upgrades or replacements
- Oversee the work of Analysts and develop documentation for information systems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 8 years of experience in systems analysis and design of information systems programs
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to complete a government-issued background investigation
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust; prior Public Trust or Security Clearance preferred
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities to turn ambiguous requirements into actionable plans
