Senior Business Analyst
Job Summary
To support a custom application development project in an agile environment, the full-time Senior Business Analyst will elicit, define, and document user-driven requirements, manage the Product Backlog, and design UI mockups while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform the role of Business Analyst on agile software development teams for a large-scale Federal program
- Coordinate with stakeholders to define functional and non-functional requirements and produce business process models
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, manage team velocity, and assist the Product Owner in prioritizing and grooming the product backlog
Required qualifications:
- 4-5 years of Business Analysis experience, preferably in a consulting environment
- Proven experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and client-facing requirement elicitation
- Strong skills in defining business process models and documenting User Stories
- Experience with UI/UX design tools such as Axure or Balsamiq
- Advanced proficiency with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence
