Senior Business Analyst
Job Summary
To support the modernization of the VA's Budget Tracking Tool, the remote Senior Business Analyst will manage requirements and business process analysis, collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate requirements workshops and sessions with VA stakeholders and delivery teams
- Document and maintain business and system requirements, user stories, and process flows
- Analyze current and future-state business processes to translate needs into actionable requirements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience in business analysis or requirements management for complex IT implementations
- Demonstrated experience as a Senior Business Analyst or in comparable senior-level roles
- Knowledge of Federal PPBE, budget processes, and financial management
- Experience with Agile delivery environments and tools like Jira and Confluence
