Senior Business Analyst
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Senior Business Analyst will lead the capture of business requirements for software development teams, collaborate with stakeholders to document requirements, and manage Agile requirement activities using an ALM tool.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the capture and documentation of business requirements in an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool
- Perform Agile requirement management activities and conduct backlog refinement sessions
- Develop and maintain project/product backlogs while managing requirements change control
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
- 10 years of professional experience, with additional experience substituting for education
- Strong background in software development and Agile/Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies
- Expertise with JIRA tools and experience in large Agile software development projects
- U.S. Citizenship required, with eligibility for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance
