Senior Business Analyst
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Business Analyst will lead the capture of business requirements, manage Agile requirement activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the capture and documentation of business requirements for software development teams
- Manage requirements using an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool, specifically JIRA, and perform backlog refinement sessions
- Facilitate communication among stakeholders to ensure clarity and understanding of project requirements and objectives
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
- 10 years of professional experience in software development and Agile methodologies
- Strong expertise with JIRA tools and experience in large Agile software development projects
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
- Desired experience in an Agile environment and familiarity with the VA's Veterans Independence Program (VIP)
