Senior Business Analyst
Job Summary
Leading the capture of business requirements for software development teams, the full-time Senior Business Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to document and manage requirements using Agile methodologies in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate user interviews and sessions to gather and document business, functional, and technical requirements
- Manage requirements in an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool, including JIRA, and perform backlog refinement sessions
- Support development teams by clarifying requirements and removing impediments to ensure successful completion of Sprints
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
- 10 years of professional experience in software development and Agile/Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies
- Strong expertise with JIRA tools and experience in large Agile software development projects
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
- Desired experience includes working knowledge of VA's Veterans Independence Program and healthcare billing processes
