Senior Business Analyst
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Business Analyst will lead the capture of business requirements for software development teams, manage requirements in an Agile environment, and collaborate with stakeholders to document and validate technical and functional specifications remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the capture and management of business requirements using an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool
- Conduct user interviews and facilitate sessions to develop business process models and formal specifications
- Perform Agile requirement management activities, including backlog refinement and change control
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
- 10 years of professional experience in software development and Agile methodologies
- Expertise with JIRA tools for requirements management and tracking
- Experience working in large Agile software development or data integration projects
- Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance
