Senior Business Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time Senior Business Analyst will lead the capture of business requirements for software development teams, collaborate with stakeholders to document requirements in an ALM tool, and manage Agile requirement activities in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the capture and documentation of business requirements for software development
- Manage requirements in an ALM tool, including JIRA, and perform Agile requirement management activities
- Conduct user interviews and facilitate sessions to develop business process models and specifications
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
- 10 years of professional experience in software development and Agile methodologies
- Strong expertise with JIRA tools and experience in large Agile software development projects
- U.S. Citizenship and the ability to qualify for a Public Trust security clearance
- Desired experience includes working knowledge of VA's Veterans Independence Program and healthcare billing applications
