Senior Business Analyst
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Business Analyst will lead the capture of business requirements for software development teams, collaborate with stakeholders to document these requirements, and manage Agile processes in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the capture and documentation of business requirements using an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool
- Perform Agile requirement management activities and facilitate user interviews to gather and analyze user needs
- Manage and coordinate requirements for various projects, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
- 10 years of professional experience in software development and Agile methodologies, with a strong background in large Agile projects
- Expertise in using JIRA tools for requirements management and backlog tracking
- Experience working in an Agile environment, preferably with knowledge of VA's Veterans Independence Program (VIP)
- Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance
