Senior Business Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time Senior Business Analyst will lead the capture of business requirements, collaborate with stakeholders to document and manage requirements using Agile methodologies, and facilitate user interviews while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the capture and management of business requirements for software development teams using an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool
- Conduct user interviews and facilitate sessions to develop business process models and formal specifications
- Perform Agile requirement management activities, including backlog refinement and risk identification, to ensure successful project delivery
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
- 10 years of professional experience in software development and Agile methodologies
- Expertise with JIRA tools and experience in large Agile software development projects
- Strong background in conducting independent research to resolve complex questions
- Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance
