Senior Business Analyst
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Business Analyst will lead the capture and management of business requirements for software development teams while working remotely and ensuring adherence to Agile methodologies.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the capture and documentation of business requirements in an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool
- Perform Agile requirement management activities and facilitate user interviews and sessions to gather and document requirements
- Manage and coordinate requirements for various projects, ensuring traceability and integration of system and business requirements
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
- 10 years of professional experience in software development and Agile methodologies, with the ability to substitute additional experience for education
- Advanced experience with JIRA and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience in large Agile software development or data integration projects
- Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance
