Senior Business Analyst
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Business Analyst will lead the capture of business requirements for software development teams, collaborate with various stakeholders, and manage requirements using an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the capture and management of business requirements for software development projects
- Collaborate with business users and IT to document requirements and facilitate Agile requirement management activities
- Conduct user interviews and develop business process models while mentoring junior analysts
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
- 10 years of professional experience in software development and Agile methodologies
- Expertise with JIRA tools and experience in large Agile software development projects
- Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
