Senior Business Analyst
Job Summary
To support major application enhancements for the Texas Education Agency, the hybrid Senior Business Analyst will gather and analyze requirements, develop documentation, and coordinate user acceptance testing while working primarily remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and document reviews
- Analyze business processes and user needs to identify improvements and automation opportunities
- Develop business and functional requirements, user stories, and software requirements specifications
Required Qualifications
- At least 8 years of experience eliciting requirements and preparing clear system specifications
- Experience working with software development lifecycles (SDLCs)
- Proven background in business process re-engineering and software process flow improvement
- 4+ years of documented experience using Atlassian Jira
- Experience designing mockups and wireframes aligned with UX best practices
