Senior Business Analyst - Medicaid IN

Job Summary

Leveraging expertise in Medicaid programs and business analysis, the full-time Senior Business Analyst - Medicaid Claims & Eligibility will support critical healthcare initiatives by coordinating project activities, documenting business requirements, and recommending process improvements, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the duties and activities of a business analyst team on IT projects, providing guidance and support to newer team members
• Act as a bridge between clients, project managers, and technical staff to define and document business requirements and their expected impact
• Analyze and recommend improvements to business processes to support clients' technology goals while validating that all requirements are met through testing

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role, with 3+ years of Medicaid and Medicare experience preferred
• Experience in Medicaid claims processing and eligibility business functions strongly preferred
• Advanced knowledge of analytical software such as Microsoft Excel or SQL and requirement-mapping tools
• Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements
• Strong executive presence and communication skills to effectively engage with business leaders and technical personnel
