Senior Business Analyst Project Manager

Job Summary

Driving underwriting transformation initiatives, the full-time Senior Business Analyst Project Manager will manage a portfolio of projects focused on credit decisioning, workflow redesign, and operational readiness while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage initiatives supporting the underwriting transformation strategy, from initiation through implementation and stabilization
• Lead requirements gathering and analysis to define business, operational, and system requirements for improvement initiatives
• Develop and execute structured change management plans, ensuring stakeholder readiness for underwriting process and technology changes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the mortgage origination industry with strong familiarity across the full loan lifecycle
• Hands-on mortgage underwriting, quality control, or credit policy experience, including direct underwriting of Non-QM loan products within the last 3 years
• 2+ years of hands-on project management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives
• Proven experience performing business analysis, requirements definition, and process documentation in an underwriting, credit, or risk organization
• Strong experience synthesizing complex information into clear documentation and actionable plans
