Senior Business Data Analyst

Job Summary

To support the Revenue Cycle Operations, the full-time Senior Business Data Analyst will develop dashboards and ad-hoc reporting, validate data extracts, and perform complex data analysis, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop dashboards and reports in Excel/Tableau/PowerPoint, collaborating with end-users to understand business needs
• Perform complex data analysis to support management requests and identify solutions for Revenue Cycle challenges
• Train and mentor less experienced Business Data Analysts, ensuring smooth transitions of responsibility within the team

Required qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• 1-2 years of experience in Hospital Revenue Cycle Billing operations, with 3-5 years preferred
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, Data Warehouse, Tableau, and EPIC Healthcare HER
• Knowledge of Managed Care Plans and experience conducting Payor contract audits
• Demonstrated competence in project management and strategic planning
