Senior Business Development Manager

Job Summary

To support the growth of the emerging oligonucleotide and peptide Contract Development and Manufacture (CDMO) business, the remote Senior Business Development Manager will uncover and cultivate business relationships, manage existing accounts, and pursue new clinical to commercial leads within the US.

Key responsibilities

• Hunt and prospect for new drug development contacts and companies that would benefit from CDMO services
• Present services to prospective and existing clients through various communication methods and attend local client meetings
• Participate in tradeshows to enhance brand visibility and generate leads

Required qualifications

• BA/BS in Chemistry with professional training/experience in Marketing or Sales; PhD highly desired
• 3+ years of relevant experience in oligonucleotide or peptide drug development or the CRO/CMO industry
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously
• Experience with CRM software, such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics/CRM, is preferred
• Self-starter with excellent communication skills and a strong organizational focus
