Senior Business Intelligence Engineer
Job Summary
To support a dynamic Business Intelligence team, the full-time Senior Business Intelligence Engineer will design and implement data systems while collaborating with various teams and utilizing technologies like Spark and Databricks in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of data systems for operational stakeholders and engineering teams
- Contribute to the internal AI platform, enhancing analytical capabilities across the organization
- Establish software engineering practices in data work, including testing, CI/CD, and code reviews
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role at a senior level
- Advanced SQL skills with expertise in data modeling and query optimization
- Strong understanding of data warehouse architecture and modern modeling methodologies
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Redshift or Snowflake
- Proficiency in applying software engineering practices to data work, including Git and automated testing
