Job Summary
As a key player in the organization, the full-time Senior Business Intelligence Engineer will create polished, decision-ready Power BI reports and reusable semantic models while managing the Power BI platform's technical operations in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and maintain intuitive Power BI reports, dashboards, and apps to simplify complex business information
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into clear report layouts and user experiences
- Oversee the day-to-day technical operations of the Power BI platform, ensuring usability, governance, and reliability
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, business analytics, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience developing business intelligence reports and semantic models in Power BI or a similar platform
- Strong SQL writing and data exploration skills for analyzing governed views and troubleshooting reporting results
- Hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service, including DAX, Power Query, and report publishing
- Experience administering Power BI workspaces and managing content lifecycle in a governed production environment
