Senior Business Process Analyst

Job Summary

To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time Senior Business Process Analyst will provide expertise in continuous process improvement, conduct business process analyses, and implement process enhancements in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and develop business processes, policies, and performance metrics while conducting analyses such as current state and gap analysis
• Plan and implement process improvements, including future state design and change management
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory guidelines while delivering presentations and training on process measurement and improvement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
• 20+ years of professional experience with a proven track record of leading complex projects
• Expertise in business modeling techniques and tools, including UML and BPMN
• Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA and Microsoft Project
• Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions and familiarity with FHIR and HL7 standards
