Senior Buyer

Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, the full-time Senior Buyer will obtain materials, supplies, and equipment from suppliers at the lowest cost while ensuring quality and reliability, prioritizing urgent medical and patient care items in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviews purchase requisitions for accuracy and compliance, prioritizing urgent orders
• Negotiates pricing and purchase agreements with vendors, conducting market research and obtaining competitive bids
• Prepares cost analysis reports and collaborates with department heads to recommend product alternatives

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience with Materials Management Information Systems and data analysis
• Proven ability to negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers
• Familiarity with inventory management and accounts payable operations
