Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, the full-time Senior Buyer will manage the procurement of materials, supplies, and equipment from suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness while prioritizing urgent medical needs in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviews purchase requisitions for accuracy and prioritizes orders based on urgency
- Negotiates pricing and purchase terms with suppliers, obtaining competitive bids as necessary
- Prepares cost analysis reports and collaborates with department heads to recommend product alternatives
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience with Materials Management Information Systems and data analysis
- Ability to negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers
- Proficient in advanced Microsoft Office applications
