Job Summary
To support the SANS Institute of Technology team, the full-time Senior Career Specialist will provide leadership and mentorship to Career Specialists, manage a reduced caseload of students, and assist with career support initiatives in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate career services to assist students in their cybersecurity job search
- Maintain standard operating procedures for student support and data integrity
- Foster collaboration among teams to enhance student management and problem-solving efforts
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in higher education or a related field
- Advanced familiarity with institutional values, policies, and resources
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage relationships effectively
- Experience in planning and maintaining programs that support career services needs
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the USA; visa sponsorship is not available
