Senior Cash Application Leader
Job Summary
Overseeing the Cash Application team remotely, the full-time Senior Cash Application Leader will ensure accurate payment processing, drive process improvements, and manage financial reporting while providing advanced leadership and development to the team.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely application of customer payments to receivable accounts while mentoring team members
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues related to customer postings and misapplied cash
- Lead the daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring compliance and financial risk mitigation
Required qualifications
- At least 1 year of proven senior leadership experience in finance-related fields
- 7+ years of financial experience in Accounts Receivable, banking, or Accounts Payable
- 1-3 years of experience managing high-level financial processes and teams
- Must successfully pass a background investigation and drug screening
