Senior Casualty Claims Representative

Job Summary

Independently managing complex casualty claims, the full-time Senior Casualty Claims Representative will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve claims related to Construction Defect, General Liability, Commercial Transportation, and Auto Bodily Injury while working in a hybrid or remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations and analyze evidence to support claim decisions
• Evaluate policy coverage, liability, damages, and risk exposure while ensuring compliance with legal requirements
• Negotiate settlements and manage litigated files in collaboration with defense counsel

Required qualifications

• Significant experience handling casualty claims, particularly complex bodily injury exposures
• Prior experience in commercial trucking and transportation claims is preferred
• Experience managing litigated files and working directly with attorneys
• Strong knowledge of policy interpretation, contracts, and risk transfer agreements
• Insurance designations or coursework such as CPCU, AIC, AINS, or ARM are a plus
