Job Summary
Supporting Walmart's Paper Towels business, the full-time Senior Category Development Manager will synthesize and analyze category data, develop strategic recommendations to drive sales and market share, and lead buyer meetings to inform growth initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Gather, synthesize, and analyze category and shopper data to inform Walmart merchants of business performance and growth opportunities
- Lead weekly buyer meetings and provide data-driven insights and presentations to support category growth
- Develop strategic business plans and tactics for achieving category growth while staying updated on consumer trends
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years of experience in Category Management
- Proficiency in JDA Prospace and understanding of Walmart's modular process
- Demonstrated project management and leadership skills
- Experience with data analysis and strategic planning for category growth
