Senior Category Operations Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting procurement strategies for Outside Plant Support Services, the full-time remote Senior Category Operations Specialist will manage sourcing, supplier performance, and contract administration while collaborating with internal teams to optimize operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze spend and supplier performance to identify sourcing opportunities and optimize costs
• Partner with Network Construction to align sourcing strategies with service requirements and manage supplier onboarding
• Coordinate contracts and monitor compliance with sourcing and legal requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, finance, operations, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
• Two to four years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supplier management
• Demonstrated ability to analyze spend and performance data and communicate recommendations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
