Senior Certification Lead
Job Summary
To support high-assurance, mission-critical edge systems, the full-time Senior Certification Lead will manage certification planning and execution, oversee documentation management, and provide technical leadership while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Refine and implement process development in accordance with DO-178C standards
- Oversee the preparation, review, and submission of key certification artifacts
- Act as a liaison between engineering teams and certification authorities to address certification-related concerns
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in aerospace certification with a strong background in DO-254 or DO-178C
- Hands-on experience in preparing certification artifacts and supporting compliance activities
- Strong understanding of safety assessments, system engineering practices, and quality assurance standards
- Proven leadership skills within a software development team
