Senior Charge Master Analyst

Job Summary

Overseeing the integrity of the Charge Description Master (CDM), the full-time Senior Charge Master Analyst will manage updates to charge codes, ensure compliance with billing practices, and collaborate with various departments to maximize revenue in a hybrid-remote work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee processing of CDM requests to ensure timely and accurate charging, billing, coding, and pricing practices
• Facilitate analysis of the CDM for accurate assignment of CPT/HCPCS and revenue codes to comply with regulations
• Provide assistance and analysis to clinical management regarding changes to the CDM and maintain effective relationships with relevant departments

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Nursing, or related field, or equivalent experience in healthcare revenue management
• Minimum of 4 years of related experience in healthcare revenue management
• Preferred certifications include CCA, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, COC, CIC, or CPC-P from AHIMA or AAPC
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to billing processes and procedures
• Proficiency in information systems, preferably Epic, for effective analysis and decision-making
