Senior Civil Designer
Job Summary
Supporting utility-scale solar, wind, and energy storage projects, the full-time Senior Civil Designer will lead civil design activities, develop construction drawing packages, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead civil design activities for complex utility-scale renewable energy projects
- Develop and coordinate civil construction drawing packages, including site layouts and grading plans
- Mentor and coach junior engineers and designers on design practices and quality expectations
Required qualifications
- Associate or technical degree in civil engineering technology, drafting, design, or related field
- Typically 10 or more years of progressive civil design experience in consulting engineering or infrastructure
- Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Experience supporting utility-scale renewable energy projects
- Ability to interpret surveys, engineering calculations, and permitting requirements
