Senior Claims Consultant - EPL/Professional Liability

Job Summary

Managing a portfolio of high-severity EPL and professional liability claims, the full-time Senior Claims Consultant - EPL/Professional Liability will resolve complex insurance claims with a focus on coverage analysis, policy interpretation, and strategic claim resolution in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage high-severity EPL and professional liability claims from assignment through resolution
• Oversee complex litigated claims, partnering with defense counsel on litigation strategy and settlement negotiations
• Review and interpret various liability policies, providing recommendations related to coverage obligations and disputes

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) with active bar membership in good standing, or 7-10+ years of senior-level experience handling EPL and professional liability claims
• Demonstrated experience managing claims with significant financial exposure, including seven-figure settlements
• Strong litigation management experience, including directing outside counsel and developing litigation strategy
• Expertise in insurance coverage analysis and policy interpretation
• Active adjuster licenses in applicable jurisdictions, or ability to obtain additional licenses as required
