Senior Claims Representative

Job Summary

Managing an inventory of bodily injury claims, the full-time Senior Claims Representative will evaluate compensability and liability, conduct investigations, and negotiate settlements while working remotely from the USA.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluates compensability and liability of claims while managing an inventory of cases
• Plans and conducts investigations to confirm coverage and determine damages
• Negotiates claim settlements and authorizes payments in accordance with authority limits

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Risk Management and Insurance, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in property and casualty claims handling
• Completion of or progress toward a professional designation, such as Associate in Claims (AIC), is preferred
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with knowledge of insurance policies and claims procedures
• Ability to organize and prioritize caseloads for timely resolution of claims
