Job Summary

Managing a diverse portfolio of cargo and transportation-related insurance claims, the full-time Senior Claims Specialist - Florida Licensed will investigate, evaluate, and resolve claims in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently investigate and manage assigned cargo and transportation-related claims from initial notification through resolution
• Analyze insurance policies and evaluate liability, coordinating investigations with various stakeholders
• Negotiate settlements and maintain accurate claims documentation within the claims management system

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of insurance claims-handling experience, preferably in marine cargo or transportation-related claims
• Strong understanding of insurance policy interpretation and claims management
• Experience reviewing loss documentation and coordinating investigations
• Proficiency with claims management systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and manage a diverse caseload with competing priorities
