Job Summary

To shape evidence-based funding strategies, the fully remote Senior Climate Researcher will analyze global climate intervention strategies, evaluate their effectiveness, and direct millions toward impactful climate solutions while collaborating with the Climate Research Team.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate global climate intervention strategies to align findings with funding priorities
• Develop relationships with potential grantees and experts in the climate and energy ecosystem
• Conduct focused investigations on policy dynamics, emissions trends, and climate damage assessments

Required qualifications

• Proven professional track record in climate policy, economics, or closely related fields
• High degree of numeracy and ability to model impacts in uncertain data situations
• Experience leading complex research projects from conception to delivery
• Exceptional ability to communicate complex climate concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders
• Willingness to represent the organization at major conferences and donor events
