Senior Clinical Trial Finance Specialist
Job Summary
Supporting the end-to-end financial management of sponsored clinical trials, the full-time Senior Clinical Trial Finance Specialist will independently manage financial activities for an assigned portfolio, including budget development, billing, and financial reconciliation, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Review clinical trial protocols and budgets to identify financial requirements and develop comprehensive site budgets
- Negotiate clinical trial budgets with sponsors and CROs, ensuring accurate documentation of final financial terms
- Perform monthly clinical trial billing and financial reconciliation, maintaining accurate records and resolving discrepancies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, healthcare administration, clinical research, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- 3+ years of experience in clinical trial finance, budgeting, or research administration
- Demonstrated experience developing and negotiating clinical trial budgets
- Experience with post-award clinical trial billing and financial reconciliation
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel for managing financial data
