Senior Clinical Trial Manager

Job Summary

Leading clinical trial programs in ophthalmology, the full-time salaried Senior Clinical Trial Manager will independently manage complex Phase I/Ib/II/III studies, drive operational strategy, and ensure compliance in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage and oversee the execution of complex regional and global clinical trials across all phases
• Drive the development and implementation of study operational plans, including timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies
• Provide oversight of CROs and vendors, ensuring quality, budget adherence, and timely deliverables throughout the study lifecycle

Required qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Health, Life Sciences, or related field; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 7 years of clinical operations or clinical trial management experience, with at least 5 years in clinical research and development
• Proven experience leading or overseeing Phase I/Ib/II/III clinical trials, including complex, multi-site studies
• Experience managing CROs, study budgets, and cross-functional study team deliverables
• In-depth understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), ICH guidelines, and clinical trial regulations
