Senior Cloud Architect
Job Summary
To support a long-term federal program, the remote Senior Cloud Architect will design, implement, and optimize cloud-based infrastructure and services while managing cloud computing resources to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable and resilient cloud architectures aligned with application and infrastructure requirements
- Manage and monitor cloud computing resources to ensure optimal performance, availability, and reliability
- Support the ongoing operation and optimization of cloud-based applications, services, and infrastructure
Required qualifications:
- 7+ years of related professional experience
- 5+ years of experience with virtualization and cloud technologies and platforms
- 3+ years of experience implementing High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions
- Hands-on experience with cloud computing technologies, platforms, and infrastructure
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; CompTIA Cloud+ certification or ability to meet applicable IAM I certification requirement
