Senior Cloud Data Architect

Job Summary

To support data architecture initiatives, the full-time Senior Cloud Data Architect will design and implement cloud-based data solutions, collaborating with business managers and technical teams to translate business needs into effective data architectures, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and translate business needs into long-term data architectures, defining conceptual, logical, and physical data models
• Design and implement data architectures for various data storage solutions, including relational databases and cloud services like Azure
• Establish data management best practices and provide guidance on data pipeline design and implementation

Required qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or related field with 8+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 6+ years of experience
• 5+ years of experience in designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models
• 4+ years of experience in cloud data architecture, including data integration and storage solutions
• Strong SQL query skills with a focus on optimizing data query performance
• Ability to obtain a government-issued Public Trust clearance and U.S. citizenship required
