Senior Cloud Data Engineer
Job Summary
To design and build a shared cloud data platform foundation, the full-time Senior Cloud Data Platform Engineer will focus on developing platform services for ingesting, orchestrating, processing, and monitoring healthcare data workloads across AWS, Snowflake, and other enterprise data systems.
Key responsibilities
- Design and build cloud-native platform services for data ingestion, processing, and delivery
- Develop the platform control plane and APIs for managing data workflows
- Implement durable workflow orchestration for long-running data operations
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud engineering, or distributed systems
- Strong programming experience in Python, Java, or Golang
- Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and infrastructure as code
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases and data movement patterns
