Senior Cloud Data Engineer
Job Summary
Joining a team dedicated to building and supporting a new AWS-based wealth data ingestion platform, the full-time Senior Cloud Data Engineer will manage large vendor data feeds, validate and process data, and ensure standardized outputs for enterprise consumers.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the ingestion workflow for large vendor data feeds, ensuring data validation and transformation
- Investigate and resolve issues related to failed or incomplete data ingestion runs
- Utilize AWS services and Python to develop and maintain the data ingestion platform
Required qualifications
- Experience with AWS services, particularly in data ingestion and processing
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with tools such as Lambda, Step Functions, and Terraform
- Strong understanding of data validation and transformation processes
- Background in financial services or wealth management data preferred
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new data engineering domains
