Job Summary
To build and operate infrastructure and pipelines supporting data platforms, the remote Senior Cloud Data Platform Engineer will design, maintain Terraform-based infrastructure-as-code, manage AWS Lake Formation, and integrate AWS data with analytics platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform across AWS environments
- Configure and manage AWS Lake Formation for data access governance at scale
- Build and maintain DevOps pipelines that integrate AWS data sources with third-party analytics platforms
Required qualifications
- 5-6 years of professional data engineering / DevOps experience
- Strong, hands-on experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code
- Deep understanding of AWS Lake Formation and tag-based access control
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, with familiarity in CI/CD and Git-based workflows
- Solid grasp of data governance and pipeline automation practices
