Senior Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
To support government customers, the remote Senior Cloud & Platform Systems Engineer will architect, secure, and operate cloud infrastructure and containerized platforms while managing Kubernetes workloads within AWS and ensuring compliance with security standards.
Key responsibilities
- Deploy and manage resilient Kubernetes workloads and cloud infrastructure in AWS
- Implement Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and ensure compliance with Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) standards
- Automate the packaging and delivery of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications and integrate observability frameworks with SIEM solutions
Required qualifications
- Secret security clearance eligibility
- Proven experience with AWS and Kubernetes
- Strong background in security governance and compliance
- Experience with automation of software delivery processes
- Familiarity with observability tools and SIEM integration
