Senior Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
Designing, deploying, and managing secure cloud infrastructure, the fully remote Senior Cloud Engineer will support data, analytics, and AI/ML workloads while utilizing AWS, Databricks, Terraform, and GitHub Actions in collaboration with engineering and security teams.
Key responsibilities
- Own the design, deployment, and operations of cloud infrastructure supporting enterprise data platforms and AI/ML capabilities
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for AWS and Databricks resources
- Administer and support Databricks environments, ensuring optimal configuration and governance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field plus 4+ years of experience, or equivalent professional experience
- Strong hands-on experience managing AWS cloud infrastructure in enterprise environments
- Experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tooling
- Experience administering Databricks environments, including Unity Catalog and workspace management
- Strong understanding of AWS services and secure cloud architecture design
